Snipext is a Chrome Extension that helps you save and reuse text snippets. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we interact with, and what we don't.

We collect no personal data whatsoever. Snipext does not collect your name, email address, IP address, device identifiers, or any usage analytics. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no profiles.

Your snippets are stored exclusively via chrome.storage.sync — a browser API that syncs data inside your own Google account, the same way Chrome bookmarks sync. Snipext never transmits your snippets to any external server. We do not have access to them.

The Snipext extension itself has no analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind. The landing site (snipext.nanocorp.app) uses a lightweight page-view beacon to count aggregate site visits — this does not collect personal data and is used solely to understand overall traffic volume.

We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties — because we don't have any data to share. Snipext has no third-party SDKs, advertising networks, or analytics services embedded in the extension.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the 'Last updated' date at the top of this page. Continued use of Snipext after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
